Gerry will be available in Dublin to sign copies of ...
An anthology edited by Philip O’Ceallaigh and including Gerry’s story, ‘Giving Up’:
"This is a brilliant story, and could only be written by someone of Joyce’s blood. Hughie is perfectly porrtrayed, in his ambivalence and weakness and false hopes. His life can be traced by following his wastes. It is a tragic—but inevitable—course. The description of self- deception involved in alcoholism is stunning. Brilliant Gerry. Utterly brilliant." Charles Bane Jr. (poet, USA)
"An anthology of short fiction from 22 international writers, featuring work from the very best exciting new talent, as well as more established names." (The Stinging Fly Press)
It will be published on 4 October 2010.
