In tha Name a’ Gawd! - 96.7 FM Radio Show, Belfast   Subscribe to 'In tha Name a' Gawd!' via iTunes

This radio show was originally produced and hosted by Raymond McCullough from May to September of 1993, every Saturday night on 96.7 BCR, (formerly Belfast Community Radio - now Citybeat).

The program was scheduled to be a cross-community mix of music and live/recorded interviews. Coming after two hours of Irish Language broadcasting, we naturally continued to play Celtic music and probably held most of that audience on into a Christian program!

We have created a Podcast of one show, (June 26th), which has managed to survive the ravages of time, (if others are unearthed we will add them in due course). The show below includes interviews with:

  • Trevor King - talking about the last minute non-appearance of Larry Norman;
  • Phil & John, from England, who stood in for Larry at short notice; and
  • Dr. William Rutherford (an elder in Fitzroy Presbyterian Church, Belfast) and Fr. Gerry Reynolds (Roman Catholic priest from Clonard Monastery, Falls Road, Belfast).

Music on this show was from:

  • The Electrics - 2,000 Years - Visions and Dreams (1991), Scotland
  • Enya - How can I keep from singing? - Shepherd Moons (1991)
  • Sammy Horner - The Blessing - Celtic Praise, Volume 2, Scotland
  • Rachel's Asylum - Room/Getting Over Emma, (featured local band), N. Ireland
  • Phil and John - Redemption Song - Carnival Of Clowns, (England), and
  • Rodney Cordner and Jean-Pierre Rudolph - Gift - Sing For the Song, (N. Ireland/France).

New international radio show is NOW live!

01 Irene Bredlow, Galilee, Israel Listen to this Podcast episode at PodOmatic.com

Raymond McCullough interviews Canadian, Irene Bredlow, who has lived in Israel for the past 30 years, or so.

She has spent that time praying - and prayer-walking - for supernatural encounters in the lives of Jewish and Moslem residents in the Holy Land. Her prayers are simple, but with amazing results, some of which she relates in this interview.

The show includes a selection of rock and Celtic-flavoured music, plus the 4-min NEWS show, Bread NEWS International, from Kingdom Come Trust.
